Works For Me Wednesday: Baby Containment

Today's Works for Me Wednesday idea must be credited to my mom. I ran across this baby picture of myself recently, and realized what a great idea it had in it: To keep a creeping/rolling baby from rolling off the blanket when spending time outside, put the blanket and baby in a clean wading pool. How great would this be camping or at the beach, too! My mommy is so smart!

  1. That's so smart! My toddler is now toddling but that would have been so helpful when she was a crawler.

  3. I love it! It would work in the house too, when you get tired of straddling the baby gate or when the room is too big for the baby gate. Great idea, Mom!!

  5. You are AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(now that I have proved myself a nut...)

We've been doing a lot of yard work lately. As in 40 trees have been cut down and burned--or will be eventually. I can't do anything with the baby so I only work when he sleeps. He's 7 months old. I have a PLASTIC POOL (for the three year old). Yea!!!!!! I'm so happy!! :-)

  14. WOW your mom IS really smart. Almost as smart as my mom lol. Great Pic. I forgot how cute you were as a baby. The thing that gets me is the blanket you are on. Is it really yours or mine and mom just used it for you? hummm I wonder.
