These are my all time favorite flower.

Rug and Furniture...

I love ebay! These antique chairs were found during the restoration of the former mansion of the first Senator from West Virginia. (And no it wasn't Byrd!) $35 each. The rug was a "like new" for $85.

Green paint...

We finally got the family room painted. I'm still not sure I like the shade!

  1. The young'un looks as if he stared at the pattern over his shoulder too long. Great looking kids. Maddy's Grandmother needs to have one of her ears done again, it has closed off and she can't get an earring through it. I think she is waiting for me to do it. :D

  2. Your baby is so cute! I love the "discovery" phase. My baby is finding her hands also (and sucking her fingers in the process).

I love those flowers also. We have two bushes in our yard -- white and pink. They are almost as nice as roses and they don't have any thorns!! :)

  3. I love when they first find their hands and just stare at them like they are some kind of an alien. I love peonies too...sadly, mine have all died now. Way to go Maddy!! She looks so cute with her little studs. I am so glad you posted pictures of your new come decor...I was anxious to see them after you told me about them on the phone. Everything looks great. Love the chairs and the rug.
